Abstract

Physical activity is an important lifestyle behavior that contributes to the physical, psychological, and social well-being of young adults. This study examines the relationship between levels of physical activity and quality of life in this population. Physical activity is assessed through frequency, duration, intensity, and participation in recreational or structured exercise, while quality of life is evaluated across physical health, emotional well-being, social functioning, and daily activity. The findings suggest that young adults who engage in regular physical activity report higher energy levels, better physical fitness, improved mood, lower perceived stress, and greater satisfaction with everyday life. In contrast, low levels of activity and prolonged sedentary behavior are associated with poorer physical functioning and reduced psychological well-being. The study highlights the potential value of encouraging regular exercise and active lifestyles among young adults to enhance overall quality of life and support healthier long-term behavioral patterns.
