Abstract

Sleep quality is an important component of physical health, psychological well-being, and academic functioning among university students. This study examines sleep quality and its association with selected lifestyle factors in this population. Factors considered include physical activity, dietary habits, screen time, caffeine consumption, stress, irregular sleep schedules, and sedentary behavior. Sleep quality is assessed through sleep duration, sleep disturbances, difficulty falling asleep, daytime fatigue, and overall sleep satisfaction. The findings indicate that regular physical activity, balanced dietary habits, reduced nighttime screen exposure, and consistent sleep schedules are associated with better sleep quality. In contrast, excessive caffeine intake, high stress levels, prolonged screen time, and irregular sleeping patterns are linked with poorer sleep outcomes. The study highlights the importance of healthy daily routines and effective lifestyle management in improving sleep quality and supporting the overall health, concentration, and academic performance of university students.
