Hypertension is a major public health concern and an important risk factor for cardiovascular and kidney diseases. This study examines the prevalence of hypertension and its association with selected lifestyle factors among adults. Blood pressure status is assessed alongside demographic characteristics and lifestyle behaviors, including dietary habits, physical activity, body weight, smoking, alcohol consumption, sleep patterns, stress, and sedentary behavior. The findings suggest that hypertension is more common among individuals with low physical activity, high salt intake, excess body weight, smoking, frequent alcohol use, inadequate sleep, and elevated stress levels. Sedentary behavior and unhealthy dietary patterns may further contribute to increased blood pressure. In contrast, regular exercise, balanced nutrition, adequate sleep, and effective stress management are associated with healthier blood pressure levels. The study emphasizes the importance of early screening and modification of lifestyle-related risk factors to reduce hypertension prevalence and support better long-term cardiovascular health among adults across populations.
