Abstract

Oracle software architecture supports hospital data security, rolebased access, and audit trail management through a structured enterprise framework. The system protects patient records, billing information, laboratory results, prescriptions, and administrative data using authentication, encryption, and access control policies. Rolebased permissions ensure that doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff can access only the information required for their responsibilities. Audit trails record user logins, data changes, approvals, downloads, and system activities for accountability and compliance monitoring. Automated alerts can identify unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and policy violations. Backup, recovery, data validation, and security reporting further strengthen system reliability. Overall, the architecture can reduce data misuse, improve regulatory compliance, strengthen transparency, and support secure hospital information management.
