Lifestyle modification is an essential component of hypertension management and can support better blood pressure control alongside medical treatment. This study examines the role of selected lifestyle changes in managing hypertension among adults. Key modifications considered include reducing dietary salt intake, adopting a balanced diet, increasing physical activity, maintaining a healthy body weight, limiting alcohol consumption, avoiding tobacco use, improving sleep habits, and managing stress. The findings suggest that individuals who consistently follow healthier lifestyle practices are more likely to achieve improved blood pressure control and better overall cardiovascular health. Regular exercise, lower sodium intake, weight management, and stress reduction appear particularly important in supporting hypertension management. Poor adherence to recommended lifestyle changes may limit the effectiveness of treatment and increase long-term health risks. The study emphasizes the importance of combining medical care with sustainable lifestyle modification to improve hypertension outcomes and reduce related complications.
