Obesity is an important public health concern associated with increased risk of metabolic, cardiovascular, and other chronic diseases. This study examines the prevalence of obesity and its associated risk factors among adults. Body mass index and selected demographic and lifestyle characteristics are considered to assess obesity patterns within the study population. Major risk factors evaluated include dietary habits, physical inactivity, sedentary behavior, sleep duration, alcohol consumption, stress, and family history of obesity. The findings indicate that obesity is more common among adults with low levels of physical activity, unhealthy dietary practices, prolonged sedentary time, and inadequate sleep. Higher stress levels and certain demographic characteristics may also contribute to increased obesity risk. The study emphasizes the importance of early identification of modifiable risk factors and the promotion of balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, and healthier daily routines to reduce obesity and its related health consequences among adults.
